    Did anyone get the email?

Does DNR still have a forum?

Above are my answers. This is a joke, DT. So, they're saying this absurdly unscientific polling via email (that probably reached few), website (some obscure link on a .gov website probably), and on a nonexistent forum is why they did not follow the advice of their BIOLOGISTS AND THE FEDS? If that's the way it works, then please let DNR know that I vote to repeal all the game laws and just leave all this up to every hunter's own conscience. Thanks.

This has to be an attempt to cause people to break the law to increase revenue

No email over here and my email is absolutely on file with DNR.
I have had a HIP permit every year since they were required.

    Sounds like BS to me.

Unfortunetly, This is the only logical explanation I can come up with as well. I swear it seems as if they do the exact opposite of what needs to be done with our fish and wildlife.

This was a feel good board decision not backed by biological study or DNR.

It is not politics. These are board members who "FEEL" 12 is enough.
Well I "feel" that all bag limits should be based on scientific evidence and in cases where there isn't substantial research available then the educated opinion of biologists that get paid to monitor such things should be taken.

I also "feel" that any politicians that make "feel good" decisions for the general population should be tarred and feathered.

Unfortunately, what I "feel" doesn't matter to our generally elected officials.

The average dove hunter will only need to take 4 boxes in the field now instead of 5

If you dove or duck hunt without one you're breaking the law.

Yeah, they are so worth the hell you go through to get them though. Benefits such as not having to pay attention to BS laws like these.........
