    Default snakes in Greenwood home

    GREENWOOD, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Imagine coming home from work and finding two large snakes dangling from your attic door: the serpents braided together, squirming, tongues flicking.
It happened to a Greenwood man Tuesday, according to Mark Hyatt’s Facebook post.
Hyatt posted video showing the reptiles entwined, hanging from the pull-down door to his attic.

He said he was able to remove one of the snakes but the second one retreated to some unknown location inside the house.
Yes, this is what I came home to today. I got one out (after some violent hand to hand combat,) but the other is lost in the house somewhere. Anyone want to come for a sleep over at my place tonight?

He was psyching himself up. I would have paid to see him trying to chase them out the door. I bet you WWE couldn't script something that great.

I hope my Grandmother doesn't hear about this. She will have to start putting moth ball in her attic if she does

Thems black rat snakes. The only thing they'll hurt is your drawers if they surprise ya. All he needed was a Croaker sack and a broom handle and his problem would be over with.

Those snakes were mating. He better hope he got the female. If not he may have a bunch of little snakes in his house before long.

I would've had to kill them, or buy my wife a new house. Squatty would burn the damn house down
Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him

He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right

The snakes would have been nothing compared to the skeeters, once I ventilated the house .

Very true. Squirrels got in my attic one year and I decided it was time to start killing a bunch of squirrels. Then practically overnight the squirrels were gone. Later the wife went into the attic for some decorations or something and she started hollering for me. I went up and there was a big black snake just laying up there relaxed and fat. She made me catch him and take him out but I wanted to leave him there. I tried to explain to her that a black snake won't do near as much damage as tree rats. Needless to say I lost that argument before it got started good. But I did find where they were getting in and fixed the spot.
