    Default First Aid Kit

I'm making a first aid kit to keep on the boat. The boat gets used for fishing, camping, and some hunting. What does the peanut gallery keep in their first aid kits/ necessities for a boat?

    Default kit

Any first Aid kit will do. Then find a hatch or something and hide a bottle of your go to likker in there just in case. Only had to use it once but was damn glad I had it.

I got some pretty good feedback mixed in this thread. Gauze and tape saved me pretty good a few years ago.

Tourniquet and Isreali bandage would be my must haves... maybe a chest seal or two and duct/electrical tape. The epi pen is a pretty good idea too.

20-30 oxy tablets. Good for pain, partying, or making a few emergency dollars.

Water bottle or 2, or a Lifestraw, or a way to boil and purify. Bic Lighter. Tourniquet, as much gauze as you can compress. You must be able to stop the bleeding and hydrate. After that, the human body is pretty tough. Depends on what you are packing for also. I have a trauma type kit handy, then all the way up to a ems styled "jump bag". I am an overpacker by nature, so if you have the room, prepare for all you can imagine.

CUducks648, if you are on Instagram there is a hashtag #511loadout that has photos of med load outs. Some good info there.

I would say no to an epipen, and yes to a vial of epinephrin and a syringe. It is cheaper and epipens expire way too quickly.
