    Default Tiger Trout

Rare wild Brook x Brown hybrid caught in Minnesota. Although some are being raised to stock in low oxygen environments now. They do occur wild wherever brook trout and brown trout share habitat. Beautiful fish.

I wonder how big they get?

They aren't all that terribly rare in NC, still rare, but several caught each year.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

They can get huge. My Canadian buddy catches them regularly. Very aggressive fish.

    I wondered.

All the pics I've seen are about that big or slightly bigger.

I'm betting habitat has more to do with them not reaching max size.
