wondering if anyone had any info about this kennel. I am in the market for another Boykin and came upon this site.

    thanks in advance.

also, does anyone have contact numbers for millie lattimer or kim parkman?

anyone with the Carolina Retriever Club or Boykin Spaniel Society going to be at the SEWE?

    Chris and Joni Bishop.
Doc I don't know Chris personally but I have heard good things about his dogs. Never anything negative and the few dogs from his kennel I've seen run were pretty good. I do like the looks and size of his stud Tinker. His hips checked out good as well. I would be interested in knowing the Dam he was bred to and her stats. If you get any particulars(Dam,sire, offspring) let me know and I'll see what information I can find out for you. I would also contact Pam. If she dosen't have any pups she may know a few who do.

Your missing out if you go with one of the others. Pam is the best Boykin breeder out there today. Just because she uses SCWA as one of many ways she promotes her business don't hold that against her.

i'm sure she is. doesn't mean i have to support her.

i have a certain "look" in mind. her dogs do not fit that look.

    i dont like afros.

well, i will hunt with it AND sleep with it. it will replace a dear member of my family....

and i have had boykins all my life, so i have to admit that I have a certain mental picture of what a boykin should look like. if it doesn't match...well, it just wouldn't work.

    i aint gonna sugarcoat it.

    2th,
    Here's another option for ya.
Rainbow Kennels - 864-592-2719, Ron Knuckles

Closer to me than you, haven't had a chance to call him yet.

let us know when you find what you are looking for. I'd be interested in a puppy to start this spring.

    roger that.

now IF i ever had to stoop so low as to buy a labrador like the rest of the world, it wouldn't look like a snippet...it would have a big, ugly, blocky head.

all those other labs look like they belong at a racetrack.

    i am opinionated.....shoot me.

2th Doc, I was reading your info and you said you like to chew, I think thats a little ironic because youre a dentist, do any of your smartass patients ever tell you stop because of "mouth cancer"?, whatever that is
im not tryin to be a smartass, just wonderin

    2th,
Any luck with finding a puppy? I talked with the folks at Rainbow and they have a 6 mo.old male. Won't have any new litters till late spring. Gonna check out the male this weekend. she said he was small for his age. Might be just what I been looking for.
