    anyone know much about low country boats they are manufactured in columbia? might be buying one soon if someone docent show me a nice xpress.

    The fellas do very good welding. I know one of the guy's wife, and their work is top notch.

    Unfortunately I can't say I've ever ridden in one of their boats, so I can't really say if it rides worth a flip. But their craftsmanship is very good.

    I think someone on here had them do some custom work recently on a front deck. Johnson maybe...

    If you are looking for a close builder I would go with Prodigy! Boats look like they are built like a tank

    Does prodigy do custom builds?
    Sea Ark 1542 w/ Yamaha 40
    Xpress 16 w/ 50 Hammer

    You need to look for a used boat. A new 35 is going to eat up well over have your budget right off the rip. Couple that with the cost of the trailer and you won't be able to touch a decent custom build from anyone
