Default KS/NE May 18-24 (Pic Heavy)

Went with a few fellas from the site out west to chase white tipped birds last week. Beautiful country, hard hunting. Too late in the season for many of the birds, and the public birds had been messed with severely by the time we got out there. But we were able to ask around and find some private spots to hunt that were productive, particularly in KS. We had a nice spot ultimately in NE as well, but the birds shut down after the roost with little to no gobbling and we only had one day to hunt there so it was difficult to figure them out in such a short period of time.

I will go back to NE again. Beautiful spot there in the Pine Ridge.

I cant say this enough to those of you that enjoy turkey hunting...you gotta go travel and get after those western birds.

That goat had it in high gear! When my crazy life slows down a little, those western birds better watch out.

Walked 47 miles in 4 days of hunting. In Nebraska climbed the equivalent of 123 flights of stairs in 2 days as well.

Wook here jackass you had to play your flute at the bird still in the tree at 100yds. It's not my fault we had to walk.
