I had a spiky puffer (burrfish) in an aquarium for a while. Those sombitches will bite a hunk out of you and their appetite is unquenchable. They are food focused like a pet pig. They can bite a clean chunk out of your hand like a surgeon. They make great aquarium pets because they act like they're glad to see you. They really just want you to feed them or put your hand in the tank so they can bite you. I'd rather swim with sharks.

Speaking of fish bites, I shot a great big triggerfish that was about 30 miles from where he should have been and I put him on my stringer. Sumbitch bit my leg through a wetsuit and with the stringer in his mouth. I didn't get stitches but by all rights I should have got some.

when i was about ten, my dad took me out on the carolina clipper. they gave us stringers to put our fish on before we put them in the cooler. well, i caught a few bliners, and then here comes this big ass triggerfish. i had never seen one before and the old man beside me showed me the "trigger" deal. cool. he also told me that their skin is so tough, that the only place you can run the stringer is through his eyes. i grabbed that sucker by the head like i would grab a shellcracker to scale him, and that sucker lunged out with those human looking teeth and bit a chunk out of my hand just below where your fingers meet your palm, right about where you get calluses.... you know, the perfect spot to get bit within 20 minutes of a saltwater fishing trip.
