Unicoi Call Makers Show

From what I hear Unicoi used to be a real good event. Mark Sharpe and others have worked real hard to get this thing back up and running. From my understanding it will be pretty straight forward without all the extras that you see and the NWTF Convention. Some damn fine call makers from across the country will all be under the same roof. If you're interested in custom calls, you need to be there.

In the olden days, this was THE event - before the NWTF bastardized it and tried to make it a profit generating show for the NWTF.

Wonderful location to spend a weekend.

The list of callmakers is impressive- what is really needed is for people to attend and buy calls.. Bring your women and they will enjoy going to Helen and shopping while you enjoy the show.

In addition to the makers selling calls, there are at least two of the upper tier collectors showing some of the calls that they have amassed.. That will be a great thing to see as well.

Custom knives also .... including SC's own Wayne Hendrix. (EDIT ) Scott Davidson (who makes the light sabers some of us here own..) will not attend .. I may have some knives to sell... ( you all need at least one)...

I mentioned this show to my wife back in early November over supper one night. Figured I'd go ahead and warn her that it was going to be a guys weekend. Hell, by Saturday morning she already had the cabin booked. She solidified her badassness with this move and pissed my buddies off.

Nitro is right, the location of the venue really has something to offer for just about everyone. Plenty to do around Helen if you don't want to spend all your time at the show. Or there is plenty of things for your woman to do if you do want to spend all your time at the show.

Looking forward to meeting some new faces and the experience. I'm not as polished as some are as far as custom calls are concerned, so it will be a learning experience for me.
