    Do you have just 1x6 on the floor? I guessing it's not t&g. Like the wood look a bunch.

    It's a t&g #2 yellow pine. It's the cheap stuff. 1$ a sq ft. Stained dark but only after testing different stains. Gotta be careful when trying to stain yellow pine a dark color. Easy to end up with the rotten banana look.

    Freddie, I made galvanized bartops/countertops once.
    It got real nasty around the sink....rank ugly water stains.
    It looked awesome (as does your shower) but ended up replacing them it looked so foul!
    Keep em clean....

    I hear ya man. I've got it flashed like hell in the corners and luckily, in a shower situation, gravity is helping get all the water down into the shower pan quicklike. We will see.....easy to tear out and do something different in the future.
