    Ok I thought you replaced the pump. Go ahead and replace the pump. Your problem will be solved.

    In a lot of cases its easier to pull the bed off than drop the tank. That is, if you have enough help to lift the bed off.

    I always have the transmission and differentials serviced at 60k...got 250k out of my last Ford without a major engine, transmission or differential repair.

    I removed the bolts that hold the bed down on the drivers side, and just loosed the ones upon the passenger side and lifted half the bed up. Of course it helped that I had an auto crane on my work truck to lift it. If you dont have a tool box it should be all that heavy to lift up then support with a 2x4 or something.
