Default #1 Quarterback In The Nation.

ESPN analyst Brock Huard has released his Top 10 quarterback power rankings on Tuesday afternoon and Clemson sophomore quarterback is ranked #1 in all of college football.

"The preseason buzz around Watson, finally healthy and on the field, proved to be well deserved.," Huard said. "He made the game look so easy against Wofford with his tempo, poise and, of course, health. Watson hit on 16 of 17 passes between the 20s, though he connected on just two of five throws in the red zone. Watson will be without star wide receiver Mike Williams for the foreseeable future after he injured his neck Saturday colliding with the goal posts. Williams is a very good receiver, so that puts a little more pressure on Watson. He needs to elevate the players around him, including players filling in for Williams."

Watson finished the Wofford game going 18-of-22 for 194 yards and two passing touchdowns and two rushes for 22 yards which equated to a 185.9 quarterback rating.

The rest of the power QB rankings list includes Trevone Boykin, Cody Kessler, Cardale Jones, Connor Cook, Dak Prescott, Jared Goff, Malik Zaire, Gunner Kiel and Vernon Adams.

Two other quarterbacks received votes - Jacoby Brissett and Chad Kelly.

I love it, the hype machine is building him up so they can tear him down after the first loss.

It was Wofford people. Schuessler and Bryant made it look easy once they settled down. I want to see him make it look easy against ND, FSU, GT and UL.
Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn't go so far as to call a dog filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a dog's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Clemson finished better than their preseason ranking the past 3 years, but it's your story.

To be fair, losing out on another Heisman due to an injury prone quarterback shouldn't be classified as Pulling a Clemson by the national media, so there is that...

To even have him ranked with stats entirely from a community college team like Wofford is Clembarrasing. Who would even be proud to post this?

Most of that is based off last year, the SC game inflated his numbers more than Wofford. I agree we need stats from ranked competition.

What category do they log 4 major injuries (in less than a year) into?
