The meeting originally planned for Sept 1st for the Pee Dee Region will be rescheduled for later September.....NOT on opening day of our 2015 Deer Season! Will keep you all posted as updates become available...Thank you for your interest.

Because more people would show up and they don't want to hear what they have to say

It would be a little more helpful if they would not be so vague in their description of the meeting.

    Deer tag meetings?

OK..is this a meeting over buck tags, doe tags, or depredations tags.

They could be a little more specific here.

This is the third round of meetings. You can find a synopsis of the previous meetings on the DNR website.

Some type of buck limit/size restriction needs to happen. I personally can't wait to hear all the pissing and moaning from the lowcountry slobs that kill nine 4 points every year during their 4 1/2 month long season.......

LOL.....I started reading articles looking for more info regarding the previous meetings and ran across this jewel.

I could only think they must be feeding the whole trailer park that the lady on the youtube rant was from:

"On a personal note, I can describe an incident that occurred a couple of years ago during a break on a deer drive. I overheard two lady hunters talking about how many deer they had killed that year. This was during Thanksgiving weekend, with more than a month left in the deer season.
I knew from personal experience, that these ladies and their husbands hunted nearly every day of the deer season. They shot every legal buck and doe that they could, but I was stunned when I heard one say that she had already killed 38 deer that year.
“Thirty eight! What in the world would you do with that many?” I asked.
Her answer to me was that they gave most of them away.
“Why would you shoot them if you didn’t want them?” I asked.
“Because you can; it’s legal,” she answered.
