Anybody ever used one of these? I am thinking about getting a 20ga. for my son. I understand that Beretta has long stopped making these and WW's supply is slowly drying up. A friend of mine said that he shot a 12ga and that they had a stout recoil for a gas gun. I would appreciate comments on recoil, reliability, and suceptibility of the gas system to getting gunked up. How is the 391 different?

    Thanks
If it ain\'t accurate at long distance, then the fact that it is flat shooting is meaningless.

Snake Jenkins has one and loves it.
"You are Citadel Men, you have no pension for failure, you wear the Ring, you never let a friend down, you will be good fathers, husbands, and leaders in the armed forces and industry, you are strong in heart, body, and mind. You protect such things as Honor and Fidelity. Your virtues matter not only in wealth, but in the richness of family, you are the last of the knights."

I just got a 12 ga. one over the summer and love it! I did take it to my gunsmith to have him replace the plastic butt plate that comes on it with a nice recoil pad. Last Sat. on the dove field it felt like I was shooting a 20 ga. auto, and I shot better with it than I have shot in a long time.

Great gun for a great price, although it's the first gas-operated gun I've owned in a while and we'll see how it holds up to the elements.

I had to call all over to find mine. I found it at Wally World on Hwy. 9 in Boiling Springs, SC and they had a few other 12's and some 20's as well at the time.

I just called the W-M up in Boiling Springs and they have one 12 in stock, but they are not on clearance. The 20's are on clearance for $450. They said they are still going to carry the 12. Kinda hard due to the fact that Beretta is switching to the 391...
