    Default Sps mud motor kit.

Whos has built one? My buddy has a 3hp on a canoe and its pretty cool thinking about building one in the 16hp range nd hanging it on a 1442 just to play around with more than anything. My main question is how do they hold up i reas reviews on them and they seemed decent.

Don't do it. The aluminum prop that they use should be enough reason to stay away.

honestly from what ive seen, its just easier and cheaper to buy a motor thats already built, that way if anything goes wrong with it you know theres someone within a reasonable distance to fix it. just my two cent id look on craglist or mudmotor talk to find one.
