Spring....You go to Fast
2014 spring season has come and gone way to fast as always,I had many more memorable times in the woods, got my butt handed to me quite a bit,tipped my hat more than I would have liked and seen a few things I never have in the spring woods and learned even more. That cool chill the first couple weeks sure did make me wonder if I had been taken back in time to the ice storm weeks earlier........things straightened out and the started changing quickly and the weather seemed to stay quite nice for the most part even until the end. I hope everyone had a enjoyable time in the woods this year and am blessed to have been apart of another spring season. This time of the year is my favorite, there are so many sights,sounds and smells of nature starting fresh and the sound of gobbling turkeys are one that sets a fire in my like no other. Throwing a turkey across your back and making the walk back to your truck which never lasts long enough puts a smile on your face like nothing else.Time stands still for me when that happens and nothing else matters, that's a feeling that never gets old........Thanks be to God, without him none of this would be possible.
