    Default 07 Merc 25 4-Stroke

I have a 2007 Mercury 25 stroke long shaft with tilt and trim and a jack plate on a triton 1546 and I need to order a stainless steel prop. Stock is 11 pitch i believe. Not looking to do anything crazy, just wanting to get a little more speed out of it and need stainless steel down here in the swamp. Any suggestions on pitch or diameter?

Find out how many rpm's you're turning then go to powertech's or Dan's discount props website and calculate it.

Lots of stumps around here and I do not want to bend a prop very easily.

So you would rather break a propshaft

I think he would prefer to break a $20 plastic part instead of a shaft, or prop blade, but thanks for playing.
