    Default Bait tank question

So I finally got me a pontoon that is a project nbat 95% completed and I am gonna finish.

So my question, do yall fellas have a separate battery for your tank?

I have to buy a cranking battery and 2 deep cycles, was just wondering if best bet is just buy another.

Yes, I do. I don't know how much power your bait tank draws but if I'm on the lake all day running my bait tank, I want to make sure I can get home. It's always better to be safe than sorry. If you have separate trolling motor batteries, you can hook up to those.

I have 2 batteries for cranking/boat electronics and my 2 batteries for TM but I still have another battery for my bait tank.

Keep my bait tank in front of the boat and just easier that way plus I will leave it running if I am fishing 2 days in a row. I just put battery charger on the battery overnight to keep bait alive for the next day
