Stump field out in the middle. Not a cypress island. Did see some waders near the flats that were covered with them in the last 1.5 hrs. Had to be a roost area or their decoys on the stumps and in the trees really worked.

All 12 and 20 ga. I think we shot around 50. Heard a big 10 from across the lake I think, sounded like dynamite fishin goin on.

I could hear shooting yesterday from Grenen Island to Taw Caw,..........to Eutawville ...to Rocks Pond....to Harrys. Alot of boats in the midlle of the lake shooting as well. The big volleys were out from Taw Caw yesterday,....at least the ones I could hear.


I could have shot 8-10 flying right by my boat if I had a permit.

That was Mr Adkins, pioneer of those fine rahnt macoys. Theres another group hunting out there as well but they good folks too. As long as you hide the boat good and keep em from flaring Id just roll on up. We liable to head out one day this week.

just a lil funky, she had 1000's of lbs of carp n catfish in her, several gators, and a hog or so...a few dozen rants aint gonna hurt her.
