good job 295, I remember my first mallard, it was an SCWA hen. Killed her a long long way from rimini and she was 3 years old according to the band. don't let anyone rain on your glory.

I think it's super cool guys still get fired up about their 1st of whatever particular duck species it is they are dying to get.

Post 'em! Because one day you'll wake up and realize you're old and the "new" of duck hunting has long faded and you'll be saying "I remember when......"

I can promise I'll just as stoked to kill my first black duck as I was the morning I killed my first mallard.

Good killings man. Gotta love a water swat. Keeps the shot out the meat.

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

Mallards are like 8-point deer. Not earth shattering but if you ever lose interest in either, you should quit hunting.

    I approve of this message.
Man and other animals were first vegetarians; then Noah and his sons were given permission to eat meat: “every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you” Genesis 9:3
