    Default My boat

Since I've been doing some upgrades lately, guess I'll make a thread to document my boats progression. Boats an 04 Tracker Grizzly.

When I picked it up in Feb, had a 2 cyl Yamaha 25 on it. Very bare, blank canvas.

From there added seat mounts and seats, which I later ended up returning for Tempress.

    Added a TM:

    Herculined the floors and sides:

    Then I put a Vance 4" jackplate:

Got tired of only running 28 mph, as well as pull start and no t/t so sold my 25 and bought a 1997 40 2 stroke:

Did a lil work to get her running good:

    hmm:

Got tired of the boring green paint job so decided to go with a bottomland pattern and a lil diff color scheme:

Got a light bracket and lights from Cootnasty so mounted those up:

Also got a side gas tank from TKB to help with bow hop:

Decided I wasn't going fast enough so sold my 40 and purchased a 70 from Gatorsc. Purchased a new tiller for it also.

Going to run it like this for this duck season. Plan after to repaint with a black natgear paint scheme and painting the hood and foot of the motor black. Also will be adding interior LED's and hydroturf too.

When you come out here to hunt, bring that along with your camera. You can just leave it here and I'll take good care of it for you.

Yep, got the lights up front and tank around the same time. Extra fuel capacity and weight distribution is nice!

Literally just put the tiller on it tonight. As soon as I get throttle and shift cables I'll report back. I'm expecting fast though.

I got a room above the garage that needs to be insulated, sheetrocked and finished if you're feeling froggy.

I will for sure. It's got it on there right now. Gonna see how I like the length and if it's too far forward I'll remove.

A lot of people hate on the Tracker line of boats. I got one of their old hull designs and for the most part it's been great. Super light, little to no draft and pretty tough.

I'm looking hard at Trackers myself. I really like that new 16' Sportsman they came out with this year.
