hit the water this AM on a certain public body of water that was supposed to have no birds on it.
had a group of a dozen or so fly 200 yards away first, called, one slowed and broke away from the group. alan jackson put him in the water. he took off his shirt and went to swim to get the bird while i made fun of him. right as he got to the bird, 30+ birds silently head our way. i run to my gun and hit the call. AJ dives under water (with the dead goose) while the birds put their feet down. i got 7 more birds. figured that was enough and we were out by 8 AM. headin back out before church in da AM.

That's a great story Sportin'. Did Alan Jackson retrieve the other birds as well?

i didnt get a chance to see if they were tame or not. all birds i did see on the water appeared very nervous (heads up and honking) when approached to about 150 yards.
