    New for 2005 Winchester Supreme Xtended Range Hi-Density shells

    12 gauge 3", 1-3/4 oz.,#6 shot

    140 pellets in a 10 inch circle at 40 yards

    Got info off a advertisement in the new Turkey Call magazine.

    Am I missing something? I've been stuffing the Winchester Hi-Velocity 3" #6's through a Gobblin' Thunder with AWESOME results for a few years now? 50 yards is a chip shot with this load/choke combo, if you "had" to take one that far.

    I don't think that is a big deal. I believe most 3" guns throwing 1 5/8 or a 1 7/8 load through a full choke can do the same thing. Especially throwing #6's. It ALL goes back to what your particular gun likes...

    Oh yeah; KRT, I saw 27 yesterday in the field East of the Colle house. One had a bout a 7"=8" beard and the rest were hens and a couple of jakes.

    The big white columned house on the West side of Shannons fence. The field is NE of the hacienda and on the same road... has some 6-8 year old planted pines between the house and the field.
