Default my garage fridge works too well

my beer and dead animal fridge just about freezes my beer. sometimes, the act of opening the can is enough to make it freeze up.

I am sure I can call someone to fix it for a bazillion dollars but I am hoping its something simple.

Its a GE something-or-other side by side fridge and YES, smartasses, I have turned the digital dial up to the highest number. (or DOWN to the LOWEST number if you want to be a smartass)

    any ideas?

Kill more shit or drink more beer so you can open it more often. And don't put frozen shit in the fridge side.

My old beer fridge would do that in the winter..I started to rotate my stock into the crisper for the colder months..seemed to keep them from getting icy.

Beer with those little ice shavings on the top is almost heavenly.

Ive got a thermostat hooked up to my beer keezer in the garage to keep the temp constant. Its a chest freezer but would freeze everything solid. Theres a probe that goes in the freezer and the door closes over the wire, your freezer then plugs into the controller. I installed the temp controller and set it at 34. My home brew kegs stay nice and cold, dont freeze. Can get the controller at your local how brew shop for around 65.00. http://www.midwestsupplies.com/homeb...e-control.html

OK. I turned the freaking dial to the setting that should make it NOT freeze and it still freezes.

    Happy now?
