That place is a fucking mad house.

I went in just a few minutes ago to pick up some bullets and there were lines of people waiting to buy AR's.

I should of opened a gun store.

Don't think so. They looked like standard barrel length.

Dang.... The Squad Scout would be on my list of guns that "might make me spend money I don't have". That, with a forward mounted Aimpoint, would be de bomb.

Yup. That's why I was on the hunt for a SOCOM I or II. I am still pushing myself towards a SCAR, but I am having a hard time with the idea of parting with that kinda money for a single rifle that consists mostly of plastic.

But they are sexy and I think I'd turn it into my next deer rifle.

I'm glad I've been buying ammo steadily over the last couple of years. The only thing I needed was an extra Sig Mag and a free $50 Cabelas gift card took care of that the other night.

I'm set for a while unless a deal comes around.

Since the ARs are pretty much gone it should slow down some now, thankfully. It is shocking how many people are buying ARs that have no clue what they are looking at.

EXACTLY!! Had a guy call in yesterday.

"Uhh, I bought a DPMS from you this morn'n, the owners manual says you need to clean it before you shoot it."

    Yes sir.

"Uhhh, what do they mean? How you do that? What you clean it with?

I REALLY had to bite my tongue and be nice.

When I was in there I just stood and watched for a while............it seems that most people were buying whatever you had. They had no idea about brand, how it worked and could of cared less.

I saw only two M1A's in there..........I don't know enough about them to be able to tell you about models.

We do still have about 25 right now. I am working on getting 100 or so for the weekend.

I haven't had a scout in a month or so unfortunately. We had a standard and a national match but they are gone now.
