    Default 11-10-12/11-11-12

Went Saturday afternoon to sit after halftime of the Clemson game. Around 5:45 two does and a fawn come across the field. They make their way in front of me and come back around to the corn pile. They all stop at the first pile and eat and the biggest walks to the pile closer to me(15 yards) and starts to eat. she looks up and starts to stomp her front foot looking my way. I hear something behind me but i could not turn to look. She stays alert for a few minutes and starts back eating. I line up the shot and pulled the trigger. Looked like a good hit. She runs and i thought i heard her crash. i wait a few minutes. It was getting dark FAST! I get down and find not blood anywhere. i look for over 2 hours and nothing. I must have missed. Went home ate and passed out.
Today i get up a little late and get to stand around 620. I hear something as i was walking in. I figured it was a doe. I sit for a few minutes and check out SCDucks for a few. I hear one coming. I sit as he comes out and turns towards me and looks , then he goes to eating. Not the deer i was hoping for but as my Dad told me Friday i needed to thin a few out before he lets someone else do it for me. So i decided to take him. Perfect shot. He runs 40 yards and falls out in some vines and his head came to rest on the side of a pine tree.
Well i figured he was down so i went to see if i could fine any signs of the doe from last night. Still no blood any dang where. I had to miss. I walk a little further next to the water and found her. How i missed her last night i have no idea. still not much blood around her. EXCEPT where the yotes and started eating her butt out.
