Save your money buy a layout boat with it and pound shit up and down the coast of SC and on ever lake in the state just my opinion
My thoughts exactly JAB. I figure, i'll never retire, always work doing something. Rather have boats, guns now and be able to use em than to save and save and then be too out of health to enjoy it.

The older Fastcraft boats had thin fiberglass. If you plan on running the swamp you are gonna have problems.

Not that great a deal....1500 would be a great deal, if it came with a nice troller. I picked a similar boat up about 5 years ago with a 40 and only paid 1200. I know I stole that one, but price is generally what moves me on boat purchases. On the other hand, if you cant live without it you are gonna have to buy it or one like it. I'd shop around a little and see what the market is holding...I'll bet you can spent 4 hours and a hundred bucks in fuel to save a thousand on your purchase if you dont need it right now.
You can grow up to be just like me....
